Egg Drop Fun at March Reunion

Hudson Scholars had a fantastic day at their March Reunion this past weekend! Approximately 30 Middle School Scholars were joined by nearly 40 Upper School mentors, bringing the Hudson Scholars community together for a day filled with fun, engagement, and connection. The morning kicked off with trivia and other games that encouraged the Scholars to think and work together. These lively opening activities were followed by an egg drop competition, with the Scholars working in teams to develop a contraption that would allow their egg to survive a three-story drop. The collaboration around their designs, the critical thinking that was happening, and the thoughtful construction of the contraptions were inspiring to watch. Impressively, the eggs survived the drop from the third floor of Hackley Middle School for eleven of the twelve teams! Overall, another wonderful day bringing our two communities together!
